Platform screen doors (PSD)

The platform screen door is a high-tech product which integrates architecture, machinery, materials, electronics and information. The screen door separates the platform from the train running area, so that platform and tunnel do not interfere with each other. It is automatically turned on by the control system.

The platform screen doors can effectively reduce the energy loss of air conditioning caused by the air convection, ensure the absolute safety of the trains and passengers when entering and leaving the station, reduce the impact of the noise generated by the train operation on the station, and provide a comfortable waiting environment. The platform screen doors have the functions of energy saving, safety, environmental protection and beauty.

After many years of application, the platform screen doors have been applied in more and more countries and regions in the world with its high reliability. In China, the Guangzhou Metro Line 2 was the first line to install platform screen doors, and then the subways in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Beijing and other cities installed subway screen doors.
In April 2006, China Fangda Group developed a domestically produced screen door system with independent intellectual property rights which passed the national review. In March 2007, it signed a general contract for the platform screen door system for the extension project of Line 1 with Shenzhen Metro. This marking that China's platform screen door industry has entered the world's advanced ranks. Our company can also independently design and produce platform shielding doors, and meet the requirements of foreign customers.In January 2018, our company participated in the Riyadh platform screen door project in Saudi Arabia. There are two innovations:
a)  Reasonable layout and structure design can avoid waste of energy consumption, and the maximum energy saving is more than 35%
b)  The escape door (emergency door) is equipped with an escape push rod in the middle of the emergency door at the track side. Install a lock on the platform side. The push rod of the escape door can be pushed open when the thrust reaches 80N, and platform staff can open the door with a key, which greatly improves the safety guarantee.
